EDWARD STANLEY ROSTESKI With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Ed. He passed away suddenly at home on December 27, 2006, at the age of 62, in Stonewall, MB where he took up residence on November 26, 2005. Left to mourn Ed's passing are his beloved wife Pat; daughter Tanis (David) Langille; sons, Darcy, Carman (Jen); grandchildren, Darlene, Edward, Amie and great-grandchild James; mother Anne; five sisters, Liz Blomquist, Linda Russell (Lewis), Betty McKimmon (Gerry), Brenda, Glennis Denham (Ray); five brothers, John Rosticki (Dolly), Lawrence Rostecki (Sharon), Victor (Kelly), Barry (Tammy), Wayne (Emily) and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his father Carman and his infant son Edward. Ed was born in Swan River in August of 1944 and married Pat on August 20, 1965. Ed was a 33 year member of Local 343. He liked to work with his hands and was a workaholic . He enjoyed camping, travelling and being out in the bush. He will be fondly remembered for nattering away in the background, whenever anyone spoke with Pat on the phone. Ed is reunited with his father Carman and son Edward. He will remain with us in our hearts and memories forever. Based on Ed's wishes, he will be cremated and the family will celebrate his life privately. Cremation arrangements handled by Voyage Funeral Home - 284-7500. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
