She especially enjoyed traveling with Ralph and friends, visiting such vacation spots as Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Europe, Singapore, Bali and several cruises including Alaska and the Caribbean. Mary will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren, who were all in Winnipeg over the Christmas season to say their final goodbyes . The family would like to extend special thanks to the many doctors and nurses who helped Mary with her battles with cancer over the past 12 years. Extra special kudos to the caring staff in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital who made her final days as comfortable and dignified as possible. Thank you to the many friends and neighbours for their many acts of kindness, flowers, meals, etc. during her illness, especially Keith and Josephine Bent, Chuck and Mary Carlson, Irene and Lorne Wert and Iris Martin for all their support during this difficult time.
