MARTHA EDITH PFEIFER Martha Edith Pfeifer passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Survived by her loving husband of 65 years William; daughter Joyce (Barry) of Penticton, BC; son Ken (Mary) of Prince George, BC; grandchildren, Shelly (Corey) and their child Annika; Jennifer and her children Riley and Kyle; Jaylene (Markku) and their children Maija, Dani and Emmi; and Jonathon (Kari) and their child Jorja. Martha and Bill resided in Winnipeg until their move to Prince George in 2003 to be closer to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law: Marie Schmidt, Frieda Pfeifer, Lena Hampson, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Funeral service was held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from Assman's Funeral Chapel. Cremation to follow in Fraserview Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation. Thank you to the nursing staff of PGRH, IMU unit, Dr. Javed and a special thank you to the loving and caring staff of Simon Fraser Lodge.
