Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNARD BELANGER Peacefully, with his loving family by his side, Bernard (Albert) Bélanger passed away on December 18, 2006, at St. Boniface General Hospital. Bernard was predeceased by his father and mother (Dolor and Germaine); brother (Marcel); and sister (Germaine). He will be lovingly missed by his wife Lucille; his sons and daughters-in-law Pierre (Marie) and Michel (Karen); his grandsons Sasha and Gabriel; and his sister Yolande (White); and brother Roland. Bernard was born on January 11, 1927, in St. Boniface, Manitoba. He was a young man of many interests, enjoying gymnastics at school, and becoming an avid bowler in his young adult days. Bernard was faithful, romantic and sensitive. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He had a lovely sense of humour and wit, able to bring a smile to almost anyone's lips. Up to the very end, Bernard enjoyed gently teasing family and friends, and finally the kind staff at Taché Centre. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Taché Centre, who showed exceptional kindness to Bernard during the final chapter of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Bernard, to the 'Amis de Taché Friends' Foundation at Centre Taché Centre. In keeping with Bernard's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will host a celebration of his life on Thursday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West. Au revoir dear one, until we meet again ...
