Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN HENDERSON Eileen Mary Yvonne Henderson passed away peacefully on December 15, 2006, at Golden West Centennial Lodge. She is survived by her son David Henderson; and niece Yvonne Morier of Winnipeg; and by her sister Christine Mackey (Terry) of Ottawa. She was predeceased by her husband Don; son Duncan; daughter Moira; and by her sister Francine Morier. Eileen was born on February 18, 1920, in Prince Albert, SK. She went to school in Saskatchewan and moved to Winnipeg in the late 1930's. After graduating from business college she worked at Northern Electric. She was active in church and social activities where she met many friends, including Don whom she married in 1947. Eileen was a warm and gracious person who loved to entertain friends and family in her home. She had a great sense of humour and a positive approach to life. She enjoyed going out to the symphony and the theatre, listening to opera and reading. In later years, she especially enjoyed spending time with her dear friends from the Bridge Club. The family would like to express their appreciation to Golden West Centennial Lodge for the excellent care they provided to Eileen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue (entrance on Aubrey Street), at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golden West Centennial Lodge at 811 School Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R2Y 0S8.
