ALICE TRACEY MAY ANDERSON (UPTON) Born September 29, 1920, Alice peacefully passed away on January 3, 2007 at the Stonewall Hospital. She is survived by daughters, Edith (Joe) and Marie (Herb); sons, Albert and Leonard; grandchildren, Charlie, Christine, Tracey, Michelle (Glenn) and Leon (Cheryl); great-grandchildren, Madison, Megan, Kelsey, and Zachary; one sister Doris (Tom); and one brother Vincent. Also, she leaves numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by husband John; infant son David George and son Robert; brothers, Leonard, Sydney, George and Albert; and infant sister Violet Irene; parents, George and Alice Upton. Mom was a lifetime member of the Stonewall Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the 55+ Club. She always kept very active going to Bingos, volunteering her time to the Legion, helping on Friday night BBQ's at the Legion, and knitting, which she would donate to various causes. Thank you to all the relatives, friends and neighbours who visited and comforted Mom during her months of hospitalization. Thank you to all the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital and the Stonewall Hospital who provided care and comfort to Mom during her months of hospitalization. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and an interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.
