DONALD DAVID HUTCHEON September 16, 1943 - January 3, 2007 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Don, in his home, at age 63. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jeanne (Bourgeois); daughter Rose (Brian Ramm); younger brothers, Ken and Randy; sister Pat Sweet (Ian) and father and mother-in-law, Charles and Blanche Bourgeois. He is also survived by many loving relations and friends. He was predeceased by his father David and mother Erna Stinson; mother-in-law Rose Bourgeois, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jeannette and Gord Stewart, and niece Donna Young. Don enjoyed cars and sports his whole life, whether as a participant or an observer in his later years. He spent many a cold winter Tuesday at Mr. B's playing cribbage with his friends. Later in life he could often be found at one of the many coffee shops in Transcona. Although known for being stubborn, he was loving and always willing to help anyone. Don enjoyed being among his family and friends most of all. The family would like to thank the fire department, paramedics and the police officers who aided us in our time of need. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Rev. Jeff Cook officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Transcona Veterinarian Hospital, because of Don's love of dogs. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
