FERNAND DELAYE 1918 - 2007 Paisiblement le mercredi 3 janvier, 2007 est décédé à la maison Fernand Delaye accompagné de son épouse de 24 ans Lilianne (née Chicoine). Il laisse dans le deuil de nombreux neveux et nièces, belles-soeurs et beaux-frères. Membre de la communauté paroissiale du Précieux-Sang, Fernand était un homme de paix, de grande simplicité et d'une foi inébranlable. Il était un époux doux, humble et d'une tendresse inégale. Né à Neptune, SK le 7 décembre, 1918 de parents immigrés de France, Antoine-Marie Delaye et Jeanne Ester. Il rejoint dans la maison du Seigneur son père et sa mère, ses deux frères Louis et Claudius et deux soeurs Augustine et Emma. La messe de la résurrection sera célébrée le lundi, 8 janvier à 13h00 à l'église du Précieux-Sang, 200 rue Kenny présidé par l'Abbé Maurice Jeanneau. Au lieu de fleurs, les amis qui le désirent peuvent faire un don à la mémoire de Fernand au Projet Précieux-Sang, 200 rue Kenny, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2E4. Il était mon époux, mais avant tout il était mon Meilleur Ami. On January 3, 2007 with his loving wife Lilianne (née Chicoine) of 24 years by his side, Fernand Delaye peacefully went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Respected member of the community and the Paroisse du Précieux-Sang, Fernand was a man of peace, compassion and unwavering faith. He was a humble, tender and sincere husband whose love was felt by all. Born December 7, 1918 in Neptune, SK, where his parents Antoine-Marie Delaye and Jeanne Ester emigrated from France. Fernand leaves us to join in the House of the Lord, his Father and Mother, his two brothers Louis and Claudius, and two sisters Augustine and Emma. Mass to celebrate his life will be held at la Paroisse du Précieux-Sang, 200 Kenny St. at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, January 8 with Father Maurice Jeanneau presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fernand's memory to the Projet Précieux-Sang, 200 Kenny Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2E4. He was my beloved husband, above all he was my Best Friend.
