VICTOR PETER MADSEN Surrounded by love, Peter Madsen of Fairford, MB, passed away on January 4, 2007, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Peter will be sadly missed by his daughter Paulette; his grandchildren, Kim (Robert) and Gerald (Crystal); by his great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Jerrett, Brittany, Dakota and Alexis; his son Rodney and his children; daughter Carol (Brian) Sanderson and her children; special step-daughter Shannon, whom he considered his own; sister Esther Michaniuk; brother Charlie (Margaret) Madsen; numerous nephews and nieces. Peter was predeceased by his parents, father Jacob Madsen in 1954 and mother Amelia Madsen (nee Warde) in 1975; brother Ted Madsen; and brother-in-law Nick Michaniuk. A special thanks to the Chief and Council of Fairford First Nation for their support and to all those that came to visit during Peter's illness. Wake services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 and on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. All services will be held at Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB with Pastor Donald Gould and Jim Anderson officiating.
