EARL HENRY BAUER January 22, 1930 January 3, 2007 It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Earl Bauer on January 3, 2007 at the Health Sciences Centre. He will be sadly missed by his wife Beatrice of 39 years, daughters Erline, and Carla (Glenn) McIntyre, sons, Eric and Paul (Debbie), granddaughters Amanda and Heather, grandsons Bryan, Eric Jr., and Andrew, and special granddaughter Bubba , brother William (Doreen), sisters Pearl Johnson (Ken), Aileen Benson (Ron), and many nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his parents John and Alvina, first wife Patricia, brothers John and Lloyd, sisters Emma, Julia, Catherine, Barbara and Dorothy. Earl worked for the Winnipeg School Division #1 for over 30 years, retiring in 1991. Since then, he has enjoyed many trips, to Yuma, Las Vegas, Vancouver, and for the past eight summers, Spruce Sands. More recently he has enjoyed many gambling trips with his brothers and sisters-in-law. Earl will be remembered for his many years as a coach and a member of the Executive of the East Elmwood Community Club. He will also be remembered for his participation in the CUPE Local 110, and by the Boyz Ricky and Phil. As per Earl's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no funeral service will be held. A private family interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors on the SICU at the Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl's name to the charity of one's choice.
