WILLIAM G. BOLTER 1935 - 2007 After a brief illness, peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and children, Bill passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007, at the age of 71. Bill is survived by his wife Elaine; and three daughters, Sharon (Rod) Redfern, Karen (Mark) Hanuschuk, Leslie (Fred) Hrehirchuk; five grandchildren, Jenna and Nick Hrehirchuk, Nyssa, Eric and Myles Redfern; sister Elaine (Bob) Duda; and many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Marion Sereda, Donna Knight, and Pat (Terry) Cruickshanks. Bill retired from the Free Press in 1992 after 41 years of service. Bill was an avid sportsman who could always be found playing tennis or golfing. In August of 2006 he represented Manitoba in The Senior Canada Games for mixed doubles in tennis. Bill always took an active interest in his grandchildren's lives and activities. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends in Gimli, Winnipeg and Arizona. Donations would be greatly appreciated to CancerCare Manitoba. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 10 at 12:30 at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. A special thank you to the respiratory unit at HSC for their care and kindness.
