My deepest sympathy to all the family. I worked with Alex from 1984 to 1990, the obituary describes Alex very accurately. When I took over as Maintenance of Way Supervisor Alex gave me some advice that I tried to follow. At my retirement speech this last July I mentioned his advice and how I tried to follow it. I hope this helps you realize that Alex was respected and remembered after he left his job. I will always remember Alex for his work ethics and good advice. Although I did not see him lately I still thought of him. - Posted by: Henry Malchuk (Co-Worker) on: Jan 07, 2007
