Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLINE LETNIAK It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, sister and baba, Caroline Letniak, at the Gimli Betel Home on Thursday, January 4, 2007, with family by her side. Carol was born on January 1st, 1912, in Fraserwood, MB, and married Joseph Letniak in Winnipeg in 1929. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Agnes Grochalski; husband Joseph; sisters, Mary, Nellie and Katie; and brothers, Frank and John. Carol is survived by her sister Jessie Kucher of Gimli; son Steve (Linda) of Winnipeg; daughters, Rose (Julian) Hnatiuk of Fraserwood and Pauline (Roy) Finlay of Gimli; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Prayers will be said on Monday, January 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Gimli. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Gimli. Interment to follow in the Precious Blood Cemetery in Fraserwood.
