OLGA OLAH Peacefully, after a brief illness, at St. Boniface Hospital, on Sunday, January 7, 2007, Olga Olah, passed away at the age of 78 years. Olga was predeceased by her son Freddie, her parents: Tenka and William Hrenchuk and 5 brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Miklos, children: Daniel, Stanley (Brenda), Gerry Letwyn, Darlene (Robert) Funk, grandchildren: Loraine, Bulah, Tina, Troy, Jamie, April, David, Bradley, Michael, 12 great-grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her four brothers, and three sisters of Thunder Bay. Olga was a member for 25 years with the Imperial Veterans Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, cooking, bingo and loved family time with her grandchildren. A celebration of Olga's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd, with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks are extended to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital for making Olga's final days comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Olga to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation (Cancercare Manitoba).
