SHELDON HILLIARD SANDERS On January 5, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital, Sheldon Sanders, aged 52 years of Selkirk, Manitoba. Sheldon was born in Bissett, Manitoba on April 3, 1954, lived most of his life in Selkirk, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Wilfred; his sister Elizabeth Chambers; step-father John Smith and his nephew Gregory Slater. Sheldon leaves to mourn his siblings, John (Rose), Alec (Lynn), Margaret (Ben), twin sister Shirley, Cecil, Walter (Debbie) and Patrick; as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends who were very important in his life. He spent many days hunting and fishing and was also a great help to family and friends. He worked in fly-in camps for many years and enjoyed working on steel building construction. He loved to tell jokes and making people laugh, he was great to have around and always in a good mood. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
