FLORENCE BERARD (nee TOURAND) April 18, 1923 - January 5, 2007 Peacefully at Oakview Place, Florence Berard passed away at the age of 83 years. She is survived by husband Emery and sons, Billy and Ray; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as two brothers, six sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by sons, Roger and Gerry, and two brothers. Mom loved her children and grandchildren and was a very loving and giving person. Some of her hobbies were knitting and bingo. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens with viewing one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence's memory to Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation and Manitoba Parkinson's Foundation.
