FELIX KEMASH 1915 - 2007 Peacefully with family at his side, Felix passed into eternal rest at the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home in the early morning hours of January 8, 2007. Felix was predeceased by his father Mike; mother Rose; brothers, Peter and Paul; sisters, Caroline and Jean and infant daughter Darlene Marion. He leaves to mourn in his passing, his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret; children, Darlene, Brian (Sharon), Martin (Doreen), Dennis, Douglas (Daphne), Debra, Pamela (Winston), Richard (Corrine), Patrick (Arlene), Gary (Ada), Janice (Ralph), Peggy (Bill) and daughter-in-law Mary Jane Kemash. Dad also leaves 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren (all of whom have special memories of their Grandpa); sisters, Frances Pankewich, Lena Seliga; brother Mike Kemash; sisters-in-law, Mary Mallet and Dorothy Crate; brothers-in-law, Frank Hudson and Fred Crate, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dad loved the land, and farmed all his life. He was employed with Manitoba Natural Resources from 1960 until his retirement in 1984. He enjoyed driving the country roads with his faithful dog Bruce , playing rummy and visiting with his neighbours and numerous friends. He was a dedicated father who always strived to do the best he could for his family, and for this Dad we are forever thankful. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dad's life will be held at the Sunny-Valley Hall on Friday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. with gratitude to the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home and the Percy E. Moore's doctors and staff. We would like to acknowledge Dad's special friends, Mr. Walter Krywenko, Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Bebe Fedoruk, Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Virginia Grabowski, Mrs. Stella Mankewich, Mrs. Anne Mankewich, Mr. Frank Hudson, Mr. Fred Crate, Mr. David Marcynuik and Terry Stevenson.
