Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDRA BUCZKO May 3, 1910 - January 7, 2007 Baba passed away peacefully on Ukrainian Christmas Day at Deer Lodge Centre where she lived for the past one and one half years. Before that, she lived independently in her home. Baba was a strong woman who saw and survived much in her life. She was a child during the Russian Revolution and a single mother of two during the Second World War. In 1949 Baba came to Canada, remarried, and worked at the Winnipeg Bag Company, retiring at age 72. She was well known by her neighbours in the Wolseley area where she lived for over 40 years. Baba was a great seamstress, gardener, card player and survivor of life, with a sense of humour. She was predeceased by her husband John, and leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Irene (Joe) and Ludmilla, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street with Very Rev. Fr. H. Lakusta officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers at Deer Lodge. Baba was also very thankful for our public healthcare system. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
