BENOIT MARCEL LACHANCE With great sadness we announce the death of Benoit Lachance (of St. Eustache) on Sunday, December 17, 2006 in Portage District General Hospital at the age of 76 years. Ben is survived by his wife Anna (nee Leclerc); children, Philip (Shelley), Gerald (Sheila), Ernest, Susan (Dave), Jacky, Joyce, Diane and Carmel (David); 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Henri and Albina; siblings, Gertrude, Berthe, Albert, Edouard and Alfreda; in-laws, Laura, Gilbert and Olivier. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Henriette (Wilfred), Laurette (Adrien), Clemence, Estelle, Raymond (Evelyn), Rollande (Leo), Marielle (Gilbert) and Beatrice (Jack) and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Benoit's memory to a charity of choice. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Benoit by: McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
