JOSEPH (JOHN) PAUL ROY On Tuesday, January 9, 2007, John Roy passed away in the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 69 years. He was predeceased by his parents Mary Olga and Conrad Roy. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Grace of Bagot; children Paul Roy of Brandon, Chris (Karen) Roy of Calgary, Pat (Jon) Walker of Calgary, Cathy Roy-Marcq of Brandon and Tammy Glucki of Lundar; 9 grandchildren; siblings Mary Rose (Ed) Gheyssens of Lavenham, Gerald Roy of Bagot, Theresa (Armond) Tanguay of Austin, Lenard (Helen) Roy of Edwin, Pauline Cook of Headingley, David (Alice) Roy of Edwin and Donald (Linda) Roy of Edwin and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Prayers will be held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Bill Parrack. Funeral Mass with Celebrant Father Michael Wollbaum will take place at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church. Interment is to follow at Hillside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in John's memory to Good Shepherd Building Fund, 114 Countess Ave., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0T2.
