MOLLIE FERLEY O'SHEA The family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Mollie Ferley O'Shea in her 92nd year on Friday, January 5, 2007, at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home. She was born April 10, 1914 to pioneering parents in Amaranth, MB. After completing her high school education in Teulon, MB, she moved to Montreal. During the Second World War, Mollie worked for the British Supply Board in Montreal. In September 1945 she married Michael O'Shea and worked with him in the insurance business he established. After his passing in 1977, she joined the Bank of Montreal and worked in the Human Resources Department until her retirement. Besides her husband Michael, she was predeceased by her parents, Dymtro and Anna Ferley, brothers, Michael, Merse, Harry and Joseph and sisters, Helen McCague and Alice Dobbyn. She is survived by a loving family and friends. Mollie was a creative person who enjoyed music, art and travel. She was a great cook! She will be remembered for her kindness, keen wit and vivacity. The family wishes to acknowledge the professional care, concern and compassion shown to Mollie by Irene Duncan, and staff at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home and Dr. Miller. At her request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St, with Fr. Fred Olds officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO.
