Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESA CHARTRAND (nee GUIBOCHE) Peacefully, Thérèse Chartrand passed away at Taché Centre on January 8, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred in 1989 and her son-in-law Allan in 2004. Left to cherish her memory are her family, Hazel, Lloyd (Hazel) and Gail (Floyd); her sister Jeannette (Donat) Chartrand and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Thérèse was born and lived in St. Laurent. She was a devoted mother, a great gardener, a good cook. She enjoyed sewing, playing bingo and playing cards Charlamagne till the wee hours of the morning. Wilfred and Thérèse were married in 1946. They both enjoyed going out to the winter festivals, listening to fiddling music and dancing and proudly wore the metis sache. The family would like to say thank-you to all the relatives and friends who visited maman at Taché and to the staff who cared for her. A memorial service will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. on Saturday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be her grand-children, Darvin, Lee, Jason and Roxanne.
