Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD GENE LACQUETTE Suddenly on January 7, 2007, Donald Gene Laquette passed away at his residence, at the age of 64 years. Donald is survived by daughter Dina; stepchildren, Roy, Garry, Curtis, Pat, Lillian and Leslie; brothers, George (Peore) of Dauphin, Louis (Esther) of Winnipeg and Joe of Brandon; also many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Adele; brothers, Gene, Edmund, John, Henry and Lloyd; sisters, Hilda, Maggie and Mary and by his lifelong companion, Julie in 2002. Papa was a thoughtful, caring and patient man who loved spending time with his grandsons, Coty, Nolan, Julian and Vaughn. He taught them many of life's lessons, including how to work and have fun and shared with them the most precious gift - his time, love and attention. Donald always kept busy, taking walks, fixing things or lending a helping hand. He especially loved the outdoors (camping, fishing and hunting) and could fix or built almost anything. We will miss his conversations over coffee, the early morning phone calls and his comfort and support. A wake service will be held on Thursday, January 11 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Bread of Life Ministries, 1338 Main St., Winnipeg, MB with Pastor Richard Sanderson officiating. Interment will follow at the Brookside Cemetery. Arrangements Entrusted To: ANDERSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME Ashern, Manitoba 1-866-293-4951
