JOSEPH MARTIN RYCHKRAND Peacefully, after a lengthy illness at Health Sciences Centre, on Saturday, January 6, 2007, Joseph passed away at the age of 56. Joseph was predeceased by his father Albert and mother Bernice. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Anna, and by family and friends throughout Canada and the U.S. Joseph was born in Winnipeg where he resided his entire life. Joseph was positive, easy going and made numerous friends easily. Growing up he was a staple in every kitchen in his neighbourhood . He enjoyed participating in activities sponsored by Community Ventures. He was a comedian at heart always sharing a joke, showing a magic trick or performing his Elvis impression. His cracked egg joke will be particularly missed. The family would like to extend special thanks to all the staff at GH6 ward, MICU and SICU at Health Sciences for the excellent care and friendship you provided to Joey. A memorial service will be held at Community Ventures, 324 Logan Ave. on Friday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Saturday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Ventures, in care of Salvation Army, 324 Logan Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 0L5.
