Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE SENECAL (nee PLANTE) December 1935 January 2007 Peacefully, with her family by her side, Olive passed away Sunday, January 7, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Olive's memory are her loving husband Maurice; children Louise (Brian), Maurice, Lucie (Graham), Terry (Al), and Raymond; grandchildren, Mike, Christine, Jaclyn, Madilyn, Michelle, Marc, Ashleigh, Amanda and Nicholas; and her sister Irene. She also leaves numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Olive is predeceased by her brothers Leo and Alfred and her parents Joseph and Philomene Plante. There was nothing more important to Olive than her family. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, relative and friend, who always had a smile on her lips and joy in her heart. Thanks to all of the friends and family who visited and comforted Mom during her last days at the hospital. A special thanks also to all of the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital and Dr. Kredentser and her staff. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 12, at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 13, at 11:00 p.m., with viewing one hour prior to the service, also at Holy Family Church. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes or the Canadian Cancer Society. Mom, although your journey in this world is now complete, your journey to Heaven has just begun. You have finally found peaceful rest in the arms of the Lord. Thank you for your lessons of love and patience, which we will carry with us always.
