Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES CHARLES WEBB James Webb passed away peacefully on December 21, 2006 at the age of 88. His memory will be cherished by Grace, his wife of 57 years. He will be missed by his sons Barry (Michele) and Robert (Karen); grandchildren Stephanie, Amanda, Allison, Courtney, Karly and Michael; sister Mary Ewbank in BC. James was born, grew up and raised a family in Fort Rouge, Winnipeg. He started as a carman apprentice with the CNR in 1937 and retired as a foreman in 1978. During the Second World War, he served in the RCN. He was a long time member of Fort Garry Legion 90. After retirement, James looked forward to travelling to Texas to escape winter and play golf. James was a kind, honest man who lived a simple life with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Thank you to the caring staff of Convalescent Home and Riverview Health Centre. In respect to his wishes there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice. A good man, loved and will be missed.
