Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN HAY Jean Hay, passed peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre January 7, 2007 after an extended illness. Born November 23, 1917 in Toronto, Ontario, youngest daughter of John and Hannah Barnett, predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Sarah Hinds and Hannah MacMillan, leaves to mourn her husband John; sons Ronald (Adell) and William; grandsons Graeme, Andrew and Alan; and niece Ruth. She volunteered at Lion's Manor. Johnny and her, avid dancers, loved to travel and were longstanding members of Good Sam Club. Prior to retirement Jean was office manager for the family business, also a reporter for Fort Garry Lance Community Newspaper. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed needlework. Jean was an active member of Fort Garry United Church in recent years after longstanding service and attendance with Trinity Baptist Church, Winnipeg. Our heartfelt thanks go to the doctors, nurses and staff of Deer Lodge Centre for their compassionate and enduring care. At Jean's request, no formal service will be held.
