NORRIS SEGAL September 1, 1932 - January 1, 2007 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Norris Segal went to his rest on January 1, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife Ursula (Denda) of 30 years; children, Scott and Shannon; and grandson Carson (the apple of his eye). He leaves to mourn his sisters, Ruth Gelfand and Myrna Poskar; brother Barry Segal (Bev); nieces, Hope Morry (Howard), Debra Poskar (Gidon), Shari and Cori Segal, Lisa Segal; nephews, Michael Segal (Marion), Hart Poskar; cousins, Blanche Nelson and Norman Shanas (Joan). He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Sara Segal; brothers, Harry, Bert and Terry Segal; sister Florence Gutnik; brothers-in-law, Spike Gelfand and Albert Poskar. Norris had a unique sense of humour which his family will greatly miss. He was a kind and generous man. He also was a loving and giving father. The funeral was on January 4, 2007. Thank you to the staff on the 3E Palliative Care Ward of the Riverview Health Centre, who took care of Norris.
