Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARLOS EDWARD LAMONTTE Peacefully on January 11, 2007, Carlos LaMontte, 66 years old, of Winnipeg, MB, passed away. Carlos is survived by his loving wife Marcella, (better known as Dolly); children, Rhonda (USA) and Hugh (Winnipeg); daughter-in-law Carolyn; and grandchildren, Natasha, Hugh Jr., and Kiana (Winnipeg); brothers, Winston and Tyrone (Trinidad, WI); sisters, Joycelyn and Linda (NY); nephews, Sherwin and family (CA), Kelvin, Chad and Damek (NY); nieces, Debra and Marcia (NY); cousins, Dennis and Julie McIntyre (Winnipeg); as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Carlos was born and raised in Trinidad, WI and moved with Dolly to Winnipeg in 1976. Carlos enjoyed the people and children he worked with at Mount Carmel Clinic for many years prior to his retirement. Carlos liked to laugh and tell jokes, he loved to cook, play cards and spend time with his grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17 at The New Anointing Christian Fellowship Church, 1425 Manitoba Ave. Viewing will be held one half hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Our sincere thanks to the doctors, specifically Dr. Goldberg and all the nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre, 3rd Floor East. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Carlos LaMontte to the Canadian Cancer Society.
