JAMES SCOTT KRAYNYK December 24, 1975 January 10, 2007 It is with deepest sadness and regret that we announce the sudden passing of James Scott Kraynyk on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at his home in Winnipeg. James was predeceased by his Gido John Kraynyk, Grandpa Gordon Halverson, Auntie Wendy, and Uncle Rick. He will be cherished in the memories of his parents Brian and Sonia Kraynyk, Kathy and Chuck Cadger; sisters Jodi (Mark), Melissa, Jade, Kristal, Tanya, Baba Kraynyk; Grandma Halverson, Baba and Gido Boychuk; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his many special friends. Jamie, more than anyone we knew, lived his life to the fullest. The incredible obstacles he faced did not stop him from furthering his dreams. Jamie was the epitome of the phrase, When life hands you lemons, you just make lemonade. We marvelled as we watched him further his education at college, develop his computer based business, create a practical and comfortable home for himself, and take charge of his life in any way that would give him maximum independence and control. He was really a model and inspiration to all who knew him. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the many caregivers who helped Jamie enjoy his independence for so many years. Viewing for James will be held Sunday, January 14 at 4:00 p.m. with prayers at 4:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach. (Wheelchair accessible) A Celebration of Jamie's life will be held Monday, January 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord, Ukrainian Catholic Church of Sundown. Interment at the parish cemetery to follow.
