MARLOW BRIAN EMES Peacefully at his residence on January 9, 2007, Brian Emes, aged 70 years, of Gimli, MB. A product of the 1930s and Winnipeg's north end, Emes was fortunate to have travelled and lived at various times in Stratford and Toronto, Ontario, Carlsbad, CA, Qualicum Beach, BC and also France and Ireland. He was predeceased by parents Frank (1972) and Lil (1986) and a nephew Birk (1991). He is survived by siblings, Pennie (Robert) of Winnipeg, Yvonne (Mike) of California and Gerald (Darlene) of BC; daughters, Heather (Stefan) of Aurora, ON, Catherine of Toronto, ON and Whitney (Randy) of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Jasmine, River, Lily, Rhiannon and Holly, several nephews and one niece. Cremation has taken place and at his request, no service will be held. Donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli in care of arrangements.
