Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIM) HAYWOOD Suddenly, on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at his residence, Mr. James Haywood, aged 56 years of Thompson. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, at 4:00 p.m. in the Advent Lutheran Church, Thompson Drive North with Rev Leslie King officiating. Jim leaves to mourn his passing his three sons: Jason (Christine), David and Daniel (Theresa) and daughter Lisa. Also left to mourn is mother Elsie and his brother Arthur (June). Plus numerous relatives and friends who also share our grief. He was predeceased by his wife Inga (1987) and father Edward (2005). Jim was born on May 31, 1950 in Winnipeg, MB. He and Inga were married in 1970 in Winnipeg. They moved to Thompson in 1972 where he was a teacher for the School District of Mystery Lake for over 25 years. He loved to be at the arena watching all of his children play hockey and ringette. He also loved family trips during the summer where he could enjoy being with his children. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire donations maybe made in his memory to the Thompson Minor Hockey Association c/o Clarica / McIvor Financial Services or through the Bank of Nova Scotia in Thompson.
