ANNE ESCHUK (nee BEMBEN) May 29, 1929 January 12, 2007 Peacefully on January 12, 2007 Anne Eschuk passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Anne leaves to mourn her children, Cynthia Rogowski (Raymond), John Eschuk (Judy) and Kimberley Jackiw (Barry); her grandchildren Leah Anne and Jesse Rogowski, Christopher Dershko (Noel), Chas Eschuk, Jay and Orie Jackiw; her great grandchildren Jeremiah, Gavin and Hayley Dershko; her sisters Toni and Evelyne Bemben and her brothers Frank and Bob Bemben. She was predeceased by her parents John and Jessie Bemben; her brother John Bemben and the father of her children Leonard Eschuk. Anne was born in Horodinca, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1929 with her parents and brother. They eventually settled in Cooks Creek, which Anne had many fond memories of and then permanently on Belmont Ave. in Winnipeg. When Anne was well and in her own kitchen, it was always filled with good food, a great smile and people who enjoyed her company. Also she loved to read and you would find her with her nose in a great book. She will be sadly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
