Brian was predeceased by his mother Myrtle Russell in 1994. Brian was born in Winnipeg on September 25, 1958. He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed his Friday night meat draws at the Polish Club, and of course won! He loved spending Saturdays with his dearest friends and neighbours, enjoying the meat he won, over a great barbecue and party. Of course we cannot forget about his famous September birthday bash every year for all his family, friends and neighbours. What a party! Brian was a loving and generous person, always willing to lend a hand and help out in anyway he could. Brian loved to spend time with his brothers and cherished his visits with his granddaughter Melody. He enjoyed playing pool, hockey, baseball and watching football. He was employed at the Winnipeg Free Press as a paper handler for 28 years. He loved his job and all the great co-workers to argue with and tease. He will miss you guys so much, you are all very special. Thank you for the minute of silence in Brian's memory. The Russell family would like to thank all those who tried so valiantly to save Brian's life, especially his co-workers Craig Riediger, Garry Plesh, Rob Harapiak.
