EDRED ATHELSTON WELCH Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Saturday, January 13, 2007, Edred Welch passed away at the age of 72 years. Edred will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Carmen; his sons, Malcolm, Larry (Cheryl); grandchildren, Carisa, Devon, Ryan, Teren, Brianna, and Treyton. He is also survived by sister Dora Perch, brothers, Merton (Norma), Clive (Marjorie), Orville (Gertrude), Vinston (Rose); brothers-in-law, Kelvin (Maria), and Louis; sister-in-law Keren and their families, in particular Michelle, Veronica and Jeff, as well as family friend Michelle. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks are extended to Doctors, nursing staff of Health Sciences Centre, and home care; in particular our family and friends for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Edred to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation.
