GRACE M. MACLOSKIE
Date of Passing: Jan 14, 2007
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE M. MACLOSKIE Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Grace Macloskie passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre on Sunday, January 14, 2007. Grace will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert; son John and wife Karen; daughters, Pat and husband Lyle, and Pam and husband Mike; grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Bridget, Rob, Adam, Katy and Graham; and her brother Bill Lunn of Toronto. Mom was very active in Scouting in Toronto, Winnipeg and Regina. She met Dad through her Cub pack in Toronto. After their marriage, she continued her involvement in Scouting despite having three babies in the space of one year. Mom was a wonderful mother and we appreciated her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, late night trips to Dairy Queen and her part in our parent child bowling tournaments. Mom volunteered at our schools and the church. She welcomed each of our spouses as they came along and later each of her seven grandchildren. After we kids had grown up, she returned to work and spent 10 years with the personnel department at Deer Lodge Hospital. She and Dad enjoyed trips to England, Scotland and Florida. A private family service will be held at a later date. Our thanks go to the wonderful staff at Deer Lodge Centre for their terrific care of Mom. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, donations can be made to the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation in Mom's memory. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca
