Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD WILLARD EAST September 16, 1913 - January 11, 2007 Suddenly, on January 11, 2007 Harold passed away at the age of 93. Harold was predeceased by his parents, William and Edith; brothers, Gordon, Lloyd; and sister Madeliene Aasen. Harold will be remembered by children, Marion (Jean), Valerie (Bill) Hill, Pat (Claude) Precourt, Frederick Wayne (Kathy); grand-children, Jessica (Chris), Matthew (Jen), Dave (Darla), Dan (Tricia), Chris (Jaime) and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Owen, Reese, Wynn and Mikhail. He will also be remembered by Marcella. Harold will be missed by his three sisters, Monda Campbell, Lona (Ed) Hamilton and Pat (Jack) McKenzie. Harold was born and raised in Alberta; following his service in the R.C.A.F during the Second World War, he began his life in Manitoba. He was a Machinist for both Bristol Aerospace and C.P. Rail. He enjoyed travelling, reading, sports, his Tim Horton's coffee, and especially his cat Tess. Harold was kind and compassionate, and was very gentle and patient with children and animals. Remembrances may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 or the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 in Harold's memory. The family would like to thank his neighbours for their kindness and attention shown to Dad.
