MARIE MORISSETTE (nee DHEILLY) Peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, January 12, 2007, our beloved mother left us to be with her Saviour. Mom was born in Haywood in 1923. She will be sadly missed by her children, Marjolaine, Charmaine (Richard) Smyth, Reginald and a special daughter Mabel. Left to mourn are four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. Marie was predeceased by her husband Lucien, her son Rostand, parents Jules and Victorine, her brothers, Maurice, Jean, Albert, Louis and her sister Jeanne. Mom's greatest wish was to go back to Massachusetts and visit the Shrine of our Lady of La Salette and she was able to do so this past Christmas. She enjoyed traveling and enjoyed her summers at Morden Meadows where she made some wonderful friends. Mom had a special friendship with the Oblate Sisters, as they were special friends. We wish to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital ICU and to the Victoria Hospital Emergency Department. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, with viewing at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service, at Ste. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road.
