ROBERT (BOB) WILLIAM CRAIK Robert (Bob) William Craik passed away peacefully at Bayside Home in Killarney on January 16, 2007. He was predeceased by his father and mother. Alexander and Isabella (Wilson) Craik and four sisters, Mary, Lillian, Edna and Gladys. He will be fondly missed by several cousins and numerous friends. Bob was born at Greenway on April 26, 1912. He attended Greenway School for grades one through nine. He and his father subsequently enjoyed many years working on the family farm until it was sold. After that Bob bought and operated a general store in Baldur for several years. He completed a book keeping course and worked in Boissevain, Killarney and Melita, keeping books for various firms. The balance of his life was spent in Killarney. Bob then spent several happy years at Lakeview Gardens and formed strong bonds during that time. He moved to the Bayside Home in August 2006. Those who were closest to him will never forget the tender loving care that he received there. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the Baldur United Church, Rev. Bob and Myrna Stark officiating. Interment to follow in the Baldur Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Killarney United Church or Baldur United Church or a charity of their choice.
