He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Helene (Durand); daughter Jo-Anne Hutsul, Ottawa; son Barrie Hutsul (Jackie Rayner), Winnipeg; grandson Josef Buchko; son-in-law John Buchko, Ottawa; sisters, Pauline Lewandowski, Dauphin, MB, Mary Hutzel, Thunder Bay, ON, Elsie Williams (Norman), Winnipeg, MB; sisters-in-law, Lise Rodych (Eugen), Deep River, ON, Pierrette Gillund, Calgary, AB, Tina Durand (Serge Greffard), Quebec City, Linda Durand, Halifax, Ann Hutsul, Thompson, MB; brothers-in-law, Marcel Durand (Lise Gros Louis), Quebec City, John Durand, Ottawa, ON, numerous nieces and nephews, special niece Dolores Campbell, Winnipeg, MB who always thought of Bill as a second father. He was predeceased by his parents Wasyl Hutsul and Rose (Moskalyk); brothers, John, Nicholas and George; father and mother-in-law J. Emile Durand and Marie B. (Sioui); sister-in-law Diane Richardson; brothers-in-law, Garrie Gillund and Denis Durand. Bill was born in Kamsack, SK moving to Manitoba at the age of 11 years. At the age of 19 he moved to Ontario where he worked for several years in the mines of Northern Ontario. Bill eventually settled in Winnipeg, marrying and raising his family. He worked in the construction industry for many years as a heavy equipment operator, retiring from Darco Enterprises in 1998. In 2001, Bill moved to Deep River, ON where he spent many leisure hours working in his garden and countless hours working around his home. He had a smile for everyone he met and gained the respect of everyone who knew him. In keeping with Bill's wishes, no service will be held. Cremation will take place. Rest in peace sweetheart...Til we meet again. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
