Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY VERONICA DRAPACK It is with deep sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Mary Drapack on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 90. She is survived by three children, Jack (Anne) of Victoria, BC, Ron (Joanne) and Peggy (Roy) Barta of Winnipeg; six grandchildren, John Drapack, Kim McIvor, Maeve Kano, Michael Drapack, Ryan Drapack, and Aynslie Kuysten, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, John; brothers, Joseph and Michael Talocka, and sister Anne Dilay. Later in life, after the children were grown, Mary was employed at the T. Eaton Company for 20 years, retiring at the age of 70. In her retirement she took numerous trips with friends. She was an active member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church and belonged to the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League. Mary was an avid reader, read the paper daily and was always up on current affairs and could discuss any issue. She was a very meticulous person. Mary looked forward to her Thursday and Sunday outings with her daughter and was very proud of her children, grandchildren and their accomplishments. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion for making Mary's last days comfortable. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
