JOHN MAISEY We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our father and grandfather, John Maisey, on January 16, 2007 at the age of 67. John was predeceased by his first wife Dolores and leaves to mourn four children, Karen (Al), Kathy (Leo), Randy (Chris), Jim (Kristine), as well as his grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Juliann, Joshua, and Zachary. His memory will be cherished by his common-law wife Ann and his extended family, Brian, Kevin, Tracy (Jim) and especially his fishing buddy, Austin. John is survived by his two sisters, Margaret and Lena. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. John has lived many chapters throughout his lifetime. He was born and raised in Winnipeg. He started his work career with Manitoba Telephone Systems. John may be remembered by most in the Stonewall area as the old milkman , where he operated his own business in the community for 25 years. In his retirement, he took up bartending at his favourite watering hole where he became fondly known as Grumpy John in an astoundingly short period of time. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends! John was always ready to lend a helping hand to who ever needed it, as well as always ready to share his wisdom, whether you were ready for it or not. We had Joy, We had Fun We had seasons in the Sun And the memories will last a lifetime. Have a safe journey as you embark on your next chapter, Dad. Love forever Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
