REGINALD (REGGIE) F. MASON It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Reggie on Friday, January 12, 2007 at the Boyne Lodge Personal Care Home in Carman, MB at the age of 80 years. Remaining to forever cherish Reg's memory are his buddy and partner, Anne Gallie; in England, his sisters, Pam Scott and Doreen (Bryan) Randerson; brother Peter (Janet) Mason and three nieces, Diana and Mandy Mason and Jennifer (Bob) Kilner; and sister-in-law Diana. He was predeceased by his brother George. Reg was born in Lincolnshire, England in 1926 and came to Canada in 1951 as a farm helper for the Guilford Family. After several years working on the Trans Canada Pipeline, he came back to the Clearwater area to farm for Mrs. Vera Stewart and achieved his dream of having a farm of his own. In the winter, Reg learned plumbing, heating, building, and even did a stint as a babysitter for his friend Victor. He enjoyed his weekends at the cottage in La Riviere and sold the farm in 1993, then retiring to Carman, MB. Reg was a quiet, good natured and generous man. In compliance with Reg's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held and a private interment will take place at a later date. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Reg's memory to the Boyne Lodge, P.O.
