She is also survived by her mother Tanya Roseman and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bert and Vi Gilfix and their family. She was predeceased by her beloved Nate in January 2002. Riva was very devoted to her family and friends. She was very happy to have been able to attend her granddaughter Lindsay's wedding to Paul Yaffe this past June. She had also formed a strong friendship with her Majhong girlfriends and socialized with them weekly.
