VIOLET (VIE) THIBODEAU Peacefully, at her residence on January 15, 2007 Vie passed away at the age of 74. She was predeceased by her husband Harold; her parents Anna and Emmanuel Doucette and one grandson Clinton. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children Bob Thibodeau; Diane (Fred Bortoluzzi); Sydney (Tom Kloczko); her three grandchildren Tara (Steve), Melissa (Lorne) and Connie, many special friends, distant relatives and also her special grand dog Captain Morgan. Vie led a very fulfilling life. She was a world traveler, who made many friends over the years, whom she always kept in touch with. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family and friends dearly, and was always there when needed. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Reception Center, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3, or to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 0V9.
