CECILIE (LIL) MAGDALENE ULLRICH (nee MEYER) February 3, 1922 - January 17, 2007 Peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, Lil passed away at Poseidon Care Home. Lil was predeceased by her husband William J. Bill in 1994. She is survived by daughter Shirley (Gerald Toupin); son Bill (Debbie); two grandsons Rustyn (Carolyn) and Brandyn (Rhea); two great- granddaughters and one sister Rose Ullrich, of Regina. Lil was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her home and as well the job she had for almost 15 years in Eatons Bake Shop. She valued the friendships, old and new, that she had made along the way. She was able to maintain good health and her independence until 6 months ago when she became a resident of the Poseidon Care Home. At this time, the family wishes to thank the Doctors and staff of Poseidon Care Home for their excellent care. Donations in Lil's memory may be made to the Salvation Army Memorial Fund, Box 1932. Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R2, or to a charity of your choice. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with a reception to follow.
