Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE (MACANGUS) BRUNTON Peacefully, with her family at her side, Alice, widow of Andrew Crawford Brunton, passed away on January 19, 2007 whilst listening to Westering Home , one of her favourite Scottish songs. She is survived by, and will forever be remembered and cherished by her children: Tom (Sandra) of Aylmer, ON, Anne Clement (Dick) of Winnipeg, Donald of North Vancouver, Roddy (Henny) of Richmond, BC; grand-children, Bonnie of Newcastle, DE, Andrew (Jessica) of Holly Springs, NC, Alicia MacFarlane (Miles) of Winnipeg, and Gillian Clement of Winnipeg, Cara and Ciaran of Richmond, BC; great-grandchildren, Carlen MacFarlane, Blake and Seth Brunton; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alice, daughter of Alexander and Annie (Tarrel) MacAngus, was born August 24, 1914 into a strong Christian family in Hilton, Easter Ross, Scotland. Their home overlooked the banks of the Moray Firth and is where her love for God's wonderful world began. Her appreciation for life and nature was expressed in her book of poetry that she wrote throughout the years. Alice will now return to the isle she called her homeland where she will once again see and be a part of nature's beauty along the seashore Thanks to the many staff and volunteers of Riverview Health Centre who showed great kindness and caring to Alice during her stay of 11 1/2 years. A memorial service was held on January 20, 2007 at Riverview Worship Center. In memoriam donations to the Alzheimer's Society or MS Society would be greatly appreciated.
