Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY GREGORY SHALLEY 1918 - 2007 On January 18, 2007 Harry passed away suddenly at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife Emily in 1985, parents Theodore and Katherine, and 13 brothers and sisters. Harry will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Margie (Don), granddaughter Laura (Darrell), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will also be missed by Smokey, the cat, who enjoyed his daily brushes and spent countless hours on his lap. Harry was born on January 28, 1918 in Pine Ridge. During his life he worked at Building Products and Coal and CN Railroad. Since 1985, Harry enjoyed countless hours taking care of the cemetery in Birds Hill Park, talking to employees and visitors of the park. To many he was known as Grandpa and always had stories to share. Harry was active until his death in taking care of his home, gardening, and cooking and roasting turkeys for special family dinners. Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Wednesday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Cropo on Thursday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Walter Klimchuk officiating. Interment to follow at Bird's Hill Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of one's choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
