Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOPHIE GILCHUK It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Sophie Gilchuk on Friday, January 19, 2007. Sophie leaves to cherish her memory her son Robert, daughter-in-law Val, grandsons Justin and Brendon. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Marie and Joan (Cliff); her nieces Marlene, Margaret, Mildred and Michelle, her nephews Ernie and Charles as well as her great-nieces and nephews. Sophie was predeceased by her husband John, son Ronald, parents Andrew and Tina, brothers Metro and John. Sophie was born in Poplar Park, Manitoba on February 6, 1923. She worked for 17 years at the Royal Canadian Legion #1. She was also a member of the Legions Women's Auxiliary. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, January 23 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Glenn Morison officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. If desired, donations in Sophie's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
