MARY ELLEN EVELYN NAVEN (nee TURNER) August 6, 1914 - January 19, 2007 Evelyn was an employee at Eaton's for 50 years. She was a lieutenant in the armed forces and served for over 4 years. She had traveled through Europe when she was younger. She loved going out to the lake, to her cabin. She enjoyed gardening, poetry and cooking. She was a strong and confident woman. She loved doing crafts and knitting. Volunteering at the Legion. She was active at the St. Norbert Nursing Home. Her sister Gladys, brother Jimmie and her husband Ernest Naven, predeceased her. Family and friends will miss her. Memorial service will to be held at St. Timothy Parish at 135 John Forsyth Road at11:00 a.m. on Tuesday January 23, 2007. Cremation has already taken place.
